Visiting the Lake District, UK truly felt like coming home to me, as though my soul had known this place so well in a different time. The incredible skies, changing constantly. The fells covered in blooming heather and sheep. The mist drifting softly across hill and vale. The peaceful and quiet places to sit and simply be a part of the landscape. I found this vintage Highland Linen box in my mother’s sewing room; it was perfect for this artwork.
