Highline Triptych is from my latest series entitled “Mannahatta,” the original Native American name for Manhattan Island meaning “land of many hills.” In these works, I continue to celebrate my connection with and love for the city in which I have lived for 87 years, and its history. The works focus on architectural structures dating from various time periods that can be seen simultaneously today testifying to the rich visual heritage of my “hometown.”
