Just Thinking was born during my Covid lockdown isolation. I spent hours by myself just thinking. Normally very social, I found this experience unique, intriguing, and a bit unnerving. Using a “selfie” as the basis for this composition, I integrated the processes of fiber art with the digital accuracy of photography. I drew on all my strengths as a photographer, painter and fiber artist to create this portrait during those months of isolation.
